Edge of Nature is a commercial property fund which develops land on the edges of important natural areas around the world. We invest in restoring natural habitat and returns are created through sensitive nature-friendly property developments and payments for ecosystem services including carbon.

We typically focus on degraded or neglected land on the edges of larger intact natural areas, where there is an opportunity for us to add value through habitat restoration.  The Fund creates opportunities to strengthen the protection of neighbouring areas of nature, for example a national park or a wildlife conservancy.

We are currently exploring opportunities in Europe and Africa.  We are seeking partnerships with private landowners and nature conservation organisations in which our approach can serve as a tool for habitat restoration, climate change mitigation and long term economic sustainability.
